Similarly 22 block level farmers training camps are organized in all the 11 blocks of Ludhiana during rabi and kharif seasons. Likewise more than 500 village level training camps are organized keeping in view the requirements of farmers and the crop stages. Department also arranges camps, fields days, farmers field schools and demonstrations under different schemes.

For ensuring the availability of quality inputs to the farmers, samples of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides are also drawn from the premises of input dealers regularly. In case of any sort of violation, action against the culprit dealer is taken as per the Seed Act/Fertilizer Control Order/Insecticide Act.

The samples are collected from the farmer fields as a soil testing campaign in the adopted villages by our staff & tested free of cost.
